I think shootings are like a session, where all people bring in themselves and create something together. During the realisation of a documentary there should run a process for me as a directrice, where I should discover something and not to get an undertake to proof a thing. Without surprise there is no emotion and without emotion you don’t learn anything. I am also be convinced, that the film has a power, to make the unvisible visible.
A lot of things would not happen, if there would be no camera. The limits are now more transparent. Its also important for me, to make films with people and not from people and first a invite the audience to look concentrated.
